5 more days and counting!

Hello all,
I'm sure you are all wondering "when are the the McGee's going to update their blog?". Well, today is the day. We want to give you all a quick update on what is going on. We are on the last leg of our journey before we fly out on Saturday. A few weeks ago we had an excellent farewell party in Johnston at Ashley's sister's house, followed by a commisioning at Ashley's home church the next day. We then spent a few weeks in Petersburg, VA at Sarah's parents house. There we packed (and packed), which is harder than you may think. Ashley also took his board exam. Maggie was able to experience her first water park (we'll have to load some photos later.
Last week we headed down to Greensboro, NC to spend some time with Sarah's grandparents. Last night we made it in to Atlanta to spend some time with Sarah's sister. This will be our base of command until we fly out.
Pray for us that we will be able to relax and enjoy our time here, but that we will also be able to get all of the last minute things accomplished that we need to before we leave.
Check back with us again soon for next stage in our journey!

"On the move"

Hello Everyone,
We hope that this blog finds you all doing well. We are sorry that it is taken so long to get this blog set up. We are still in the process of setting it up. We have been on the move and still moving. Here is a little update with what is going on in our lives...

Ashley graduated from the residency program on June 23rd and we moved out of our home on the 24th. Yes, our home has sold! We are so excited. The Lord has definitely had His hand in this whole process. After we moved out of our home on the 24th we spent a week at the beach with Ashley's parents. Then Ashley had a CME to attend this past week at Kiawah Island in SC. We are now in Johnston, SC with Ashley's parents and plan to head up to Sarah's parents home in Petersburg, VA this weekend sometime. Ashley will be taking his boards up in Virginia and Maggie and I plan to pack for Kenya. We leave for Kenya on August 4th. We are on the move and doing well. We are excited about Kenya and can't wait to get over there but we are enjoying our time with each other as a family and the special time we get to spend with our family and friends here in the US.

We will keep everyone posted on what the Lord is doing in our lives and hopefully you will let us know what the Lord is doing in yours.

God Bless
